Success can become a very comfortable place to hide.

I know this might sound odd, but for many of us, achievement can become a faithful companion!

We learned how to work hard. How to solve difficult problems. How to lead. How to keep moving forward. And it served us very well. Until one day, we begin to wonder: Am I still creating a life that feels deeply meaningful to me, or have I simply become very good at succeeding?

It can be an uncomfortable question. Especially when, from the outside, everything appears to be going well. There may be no crisis. No dramatic event forcing change. No obvious reason to question the path we are on.

But success has its own momentum. There is always another goal. Another opportunity. Another problem requiring our attention.

And sometimes that momentum keeps us so busy creating a successful life that we never stop to ask whether we are creating our Masterpiece, in other words a life that feels like the truest expression of who we are and what we are here to contribute.

Not someone else's definition of a remarkable life. Ours.

Perhaps there comes a point when the question is no longer: What can I achiev

e next? Instead What do I want all of this achievement to ultimately become? This is a very different question. And one worth reflecting on.

This is one of the reasons I created Coherence Creators,  to support people at a threshold, those defining moments when the life they have built no longer feels like the life they are being called to live.

If this resonates, I invite you to join my circle, Letters from the Edge of Becoming, (scroll to the bottom of the home page) for an exclusive reflection delivered each Friday, a quiet space to pause, reflect, and listen more deeply.

Be Well!

Warmly, Iona, Founder, Coherence Creators
